Parsons Gets Recognition for Teaming Efforts With Veteran-Owned Businesses

Parsons has received the National Veteran Small Business Coalition’s Champion of Veteran Enterprise Award for collaborating with veteran-owned and service-disabled, veteran-owned companies to support federal projects.

The company said Wednesday it surpassed the government’s SDVOSB contracting goal of 3 percent in 2017 by awarding 10 percent of subcontractor dollars to businesses that fall under that group.

The Pasadena, Calif.-based firm also awarded 10 percent of subcontractor dollars to VOSB partners last year, exceeding the 8 percent goal set by the government for that category.
