The National Institute of Standards and Technology has issued a request for information on companies that offer design and layout software for microelectromechanical systems.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Tuesday says NIST is interested in an electronic design automation technology designed to generate masks for MEMS device production.
The agency requires software for creating geometrical figures and hierarchical models, as well as an ANSYS-compatible module for producing solid 3D models based on 2D layouts.
Interested vendors can submit responses until Aug, 27.
