Nicholas Tomlin, former senior manager at General Dynamics‘ information technology business and a more than two-decade industry veteran, has joined technology firm Apprio as vice president of information security.
Apprio said Monday Tomlin will lead the Washington, D.C.-based company’s work with government customers in the areas of enterprise information assurance, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, security risk assessment, continuous monitoring and program management.
The certified project management professional previously managed General Dynamics’ IT projects at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, including the implementation of cloud computing security, monitoring and vulnerability remediation measures for the agency.
He also holds technology leadership certification from Carnegie Mellon University.
