McKean Defense has secured a potential five-year, $47M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to support logistics operations for the U.S. Army Watercraft System Product Directorate’s marine vessels.
The cost-plus-fixed-fee award tasks the Philadelphia-based naval services firm to provide systems technical support for watercraft operations systems, towing and terminal operations vessels, landing craft and ship-to-shore enablers starting September 2018, McKean said Tuesday.
The company will additionally provide services such as engineering and safety analyses, design and test asset support, integrated logistics functions, obsolescence management, training and business case evaluation.
Work will take place in the Army’s various U.S. locations and some international sites.
McKean CEO Joseph Carlini said the company has supported PD AWS since 2010.
