Leidos has been included in Forbes magazine’s America’s Best Employers for Women list that seeks to recognize companies for their diversity and other workplace conditions.
The company said Thursday it landed the 51st spot on the list of top 300 employers and placed fourth in the ranking of 23 firms under the list’s information technology services category.
“Ranking in the top 20 percent of this inaugural list underscores our commitment to embracing talent with different perspectives and from various backgrounds,†said Ann Addison, chief human resources officer at Leidos.
The Reston, Va.-based IT services contractor backs external and internal programs to support female employees and one of those initiatives is an employee resource group – Leidos Women’s Network – that provides a forum for women to achieve professional and personal growth through networking and mentoring efforts.
Forbes teamed up with Statista to poll 40,000 employees who were asked to rate their companies based on diversity at board and executive levels, working conditions, family support, pay equity and parental leave.
Leidos was also named to Forbes’ 2018 America’s Best Employers list in May.
