General Dynamics‘ mission systems business has received a five-year, $23.2M contract to provide air traffic control radio systems to the U.S. Air Force.
The company will provide at least 110 CM-300/350 transceivers and optional control units each to replace outdated GRC 171/211 ATC radios currently used as backups, the Defense Department said Thursday.
USAF can order up to 1,500 units each through the firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
Work will take place in Scottsdale, Ariz., through July 31, 2023.
