Forcepoint’s federal business has secured a three-year, $9.1M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide a tool for the U.S. Air Force to monitor user activity on the service branch’s classified network.
USAF asked the cybersecurity firm to develop a user activity monitoring technology that will work to detect, thwart and address insider threats, the Defense Department said Friday.
The Secretary of the Air Force, Concepts, Development and Management Office will obligate $1.3M at the time of award from fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds.
The company will perform work in Herndon, Va., and San Antonio, Texas, through Aug. 16, 2021.
