DynCorp International has won a $23.7M firm-fixed-price contract to provide executive airlift maintenance support to the U.S. Air Force.
The Defense Department said Thursday that DynCorp will cover the services, equipment and personnel in support of fixed-wing flight line and back shop maintenance operations for the 89th Airlift Wing’s aircraft.
The company will also provide back shop support for 811th Operations Group rotary-wing aircraft under the one-year contract, which has four one-year options and an additional six-month extension option.
The Air Force District of Washington received two offers for the competitively procured contract and will obligate the full amount in fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
Work will occur in Joint Base Andrews, Md. from Sept. 1, 2018 through Feb. 29, 2024.
