The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has awarded DXC Technology a potential 10-year, $400 million contract to update the state’s Medicaid Management Information System.
DXCÂ said Tuesday it will also help department manage systems and business processes related to the healthcare program, as well as integrate new business modules into MMIS.
John McCabe, general manager and vice president of DXC’s Americas public sector division, said the company will apply experience in providing fiscal-agent services to government health programs to support the new project in Wisconsin.
The information technology services contractor has helped agencies manage care quality across the state with the firm’s interChange Healthcare Platform.
DXC noted that more than 550 company employees will support work under the contract, which has a five-year base period and five one-year options.
