The Defense Information Systems Agency seeks a contractor that can provide information technology, cybersecurity engineering and innovation labor support services to upgrade the agency’s cyber defense architecture.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Wednesday says the contractor will be directed to refine the Acropolis system’s ability to develop and deploy enterprise defensive cyber operations capabilities.
DISA is also looking for an integrated cyber situational awareness environment that will help DCO analysts within the Defense Department to manage and protect the DoD Information Network.
The contractor shall also support the development of Acropolis services and any hosted product that extends the cyber defense system’s mission.
Acropolis is designed to collect, analyze and deliver DCO data from sources within the DoDIN to external and internal subscribers for them to establish a global situational awareness of the DoDIN.
The architecture supports DISA, the National Security Agency, U.S. Cyber Command, and combatant commands and services throughout DoD.
