Bill Varner, former president of ManTech‘s mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group, has joined the board of directors at Cornerstone Defense.

He said in a statement released Tuesday he plans to work with Cornerstone Defense‘s executive team and continue to contribute to U.S. government missions.

The Hanover, Md.-based company offers support services to the intelligence and defense sectors in the cloud architecture, systems and network engineering, systems and networks security and application development areas.

Varner retired from ManTech in late 2017 after leading its MCIS business for eight years. He previously held a three-decade career at TASC, where his more recent role was vice president and executive director of its intelligence operations.

He also joined Novetta‘s board of directors early this year.
