AT&T has received a five-year contract to provide mobile devices and services to the Labor Department’s Office of the Assistant Secretary for Operations and Management.

The company said Tuesday the agreement covers provision of smartphones and other wireless communications technology, voice and data services via a 4G LTE network, and customer service and support.

“We’re proud to expand our footprint within the Labor Department and deliver mobility services and devices that can help employees work more efficiently and effectively,” Rob Dapkiewicz, vice president of AT&T’s federal civilian business, told ExecutiveBiz Tuesday.

Under a separate recompete contract, the company will continue to provide mobility services to the department’s Wage and Hour Division.

AT&T has provided smartphones, tethering, push-to-talk and communications services to the division since 2016.
