L3 Technologies‘ Wescam business has booked more than $300 million in contracts during the first quarter of this year to supply domestic and international customers with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance sensors.
The company said Monday sensors within its MX product line are equipped with optical and processing technologies and designed to integrate with manned and unmanned aircraft platforms, land vehicles and maritime vessels.
Jeff Miller, senior vice president and president of L3’s sensor systems business segment, said the company has gained 16 new clients and four new platforms over the past six months.
Wescam President Matt Richi said the business offers 24/7 support, warranty, maintenance and training services to customers worldwide.
More than 4,300 MX products have been deployed across the globe, L3 noted.
