KeyW has secured a six-year multimillion dollar task order to support the U.S. Army‘s training systems as a subcontractor to Lockheed Martin under a potential $3.53 billion contract.
Hanover, Md.-based KeyW said Tuesday it will assist the Army program executive office for simulation, training and instrumentation in efforts to sustain the reliability of Soldier Systems Constructive Intelligence Systems.
The task order includes support for an intelligence and electronic warfare tactical proficiency trainer; common battle command simulations equipment; and a live, virtual, constructive integrated architecture.
“We look forward to applying our mission understanding and technical expertise to help advance Army modeling, simulation and training capabilities,” said Kirk Herdman, executive vice president of corporate strategy and business development at KeyW.
