Engineering Services Network has received a potential five-year, $69.6 million contract from the Naval Surface Warfare Center to provide technical, engineering and logistics support for weapon systems programs of the U.S. Navy and foreign military sales customers.
The company said Monday it will help test, engineer and conduct post-event analysis of the Aegis Combat System and the Ballistic Missile Defense system.
Raymond Lopez Jr., CEO of ESN and a 29-year Navy veteran, said the company seeks to help the service branch update Aegis and BMD products through the contract.
Work will also include computer programming, materials management, specified logistics, interoperability and technical services.
ESN noted it will render the services onboard various ships docked at ports or deployed at sea, land-based test facilities, shore sites and shipyards.
The contract contains one base year along with four one-year options and involves FMS to Australia, Bahrain, Italy, Japan, Norway, South Korea and Spain.
