AECOM has partnered with software firm Bluebeam to help fully digitize the design review process of California’s Division of the State Architect.
The digitization effort aims to support response time tracking, print reduction, mailing and travel requirements, and productivity for the division’s review efforts, AECOM said Thursday.
AECOM is working with DSA to construct a complete work-flow and identify a variety of projects to help start the new digitized review process.
DSA annually manages 4,000 projects with construction costs totaling almost $6 billion for K-12 schools, community colleges and other sites within California.
The division works to establish safety and accessibility standards for buildings across the state.
