DISA Eyes Industry Support to Develop Cybersecurity Info Sharing Platform - top government contractors - best government contracting eventThe Defense Information Systems Agency has issued a request for information on potential sources of a technology platform that can help the Defense Department and its industrial base partners share cybersecurity information.

A FedBizOpps notice posted Thursday says the DIBNet and Cybersecurity Information Sharing effort aims to build a primary portal to store documents, facilitate collaboration discussions and exchange of cyber threat intelligence data.

The system will be designed to protect DoD’s enterprise services and infrastructure from cyber attacks.

According to DISA, the sought platform will replace the current DIB system that is based on eXo Platform‘s digital collaboration software.

The agency’s Cyber Network Defense Tools Program contract that supports the existing system is scheduled to expire on May 20, 2019.

DISA will accept responses to the sources sought notice through Aug. 9 and expects to award a potential five-year contract by March to address the broad-based requirement.
