Northrop Grumman has won a potential $23.6 million contract to research and develop a precise reference sensing platform as part of the U.S. Air Force“™s collaborative electronic warfare program.
The company will help the service branch produce positioning, navigation and timing technology, as well as support prototyping; integration, modeling, simulation, wargaming and analysis efforts at Wright-Patterson AF Base in Ohio, the Defense Department said Monday.
The Air Force Research Laboratory is the contracting activity and will obligate a total of $877,628 in fiscal 2017 and fiscal 2018 research and development funds at the time of award.
Work under the competitively procured contract is scheduled to finish June 29, 2023.
