AAR‘s mobility systems division has received two task orders with a combined value of $25.3 million to manufacture and repair 463L cargo pallets for the U.S. Air Force.
AAR said Thursday that the task orders, together with a previously awarded contract, increase the total value of the project to $143 million.
According to Jeffery Jackson, vice president for business development at AAR Mobility Systems, the task orders will ensure that the current inventory remains operational while increasing production by up to 6,000 new pallets.
Work will commence in Cadillac, Mich. and has an expected completion date of June 30, 2019.
