Serco Group‘s North American subsidiary has received the Defense Security Service‘s 2018 James S. Cogswell Outstanding Industrial Achievement Award in recognition of security practices at two company offices located in Virginia and Colorado.
Serco Inc. is one of the 39 award recipients that DSS selected out of 13,300 defense companies, the Va.-based contractor said Thursday.
“Our teams across the business recognize that national security impacts the safety of our warfighters and our nation,” said Dave Dacquino, chairman and CEO of Serco Inc.
Criteria for the Cogswell Award include at least a superior rating for two consecutive industrial security reviews and a security approach that surpasses National Industrial Security Program requirements.
The recognition marks the third time Serco Inc. has earned such award.
