SAP National Security Services and Amazon Web Services have teamed up to deliver services and tools to customers to help them migrate data workloads to the cloud.
The partnership seeks to provide clients an option to gain access to the AWS GovCloud (US) platform as part of their adoption of SAP NS2’s Secure HANA Cloud offering, SAP NS2 said Tuesday.
The collaboration aims to help clients comply with regulatory requirements such as the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, International Traffic in Arms Regulations and the Defense Department’s Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide.
Mark Testoni, SAP NS2 president and CEO and a 2018 Wash100 recipient, said the partnership will help customers carry out their digital transformation efforts, ensure security and reduce costs as they move to the cloud.
“We continue to see our public sector customers move more critical workloads and applications to the cloud, and this collaboration is one way in which we can further support them, delivering on the tools and services they’ve requested,†said Dave Levy, vice president of U.S. government at AWS and a 2018 Wash100 awardee.
