Rockwell Collins has received a contract to extend avionics support services for the Australian army’s CH-47F Chinook helicopters.
The company said Monday it will deliver field service engineering, program management, logistics, repair and overhaul services for the Common Avionics Architecture System onboard the helicopters and the Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulators.
“We’ve been supporting the Australian Army since they took delivery of their aircraft three years ago, delivering the highest level of service in country so they can maintain mission readiness,†said Thierry Tosi, vice president and general manager, Service Solutions for Rockwell Collins.
Work under the performance-based logistics contract will run through 2020.
