Joan Robinson-Berry, vice president and general manager of Boeing‘s South Carolina site, will transition to a new role as VP of engineering maintenance and modification at the company’s global services business, The Post and Courier reported Sunday.
She will work at the Plano, Texas-based unit that was established last year to offer technical support services to the defense and commercial sectors.
The three-decade Boeing veteran previously served as VP of shared services within the firm’s supplier management organization and director of Phantom Works supplier management for its defense, space and security division.
Her other previous roles include service as small business liaison officer; director of engineering and technical workforce excellence;Â director of engineering processes, tools and skills within the space and communications unit; and program manager of the MD-80/-90Â twinjet programs.
