Northrop Grumman Systems‘ military aircraft business has received a $153.2 million U.S. Navy-issued foreign military sales contract modification for one E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft to be delivered to Japan.
The service branch obligates the entire modification amount upon awarding, the Defense Department said Tuesday.
The company will perform work at locations in Florida, New York, Indiana, California, Illinois, other U.S. areas and France through March 2020.
Northrop began production of the first two Japan configuration E-2D units in 2016.
