Mark Frantz, co-founder of BlueDelta Capital Partners, and Joseph Dyer, a retired U.S. Navy vice admiral, have been named advisers to ASGN’s board of directors.
Frantz and Dyer will share with the company’s board their knowledge and insights gained through their government contracting experience, ASGN said Tuesday.
ASGN CEO Peter Dameris said the firm will leverage both leaders’ federal contracting, public service, military and corporate experience as ASGN works to build up ECS Federal into a company with over $1 billion in revenue.
ASGN closed its $775 million purchase of ECS in April as part of its entry into the federal information technology services sector.
Frantz previously served on the board of CSRA, which was acquired by General Dynamics in April, and as a managing general partner at In-Q-Tel and principal at Carlyle Venture Partners.
Dyer serves as a commissioner for the National Defense Authorization Act Section 809 Acquisition Streamlining Commission.
He worked at iRobot for 10 years as chief operating officer and chief strategy officer after a three-decade career in the Navy where he served as head of the Naval Air Systems Command.
He also served as chairman of the aerospace safety and advisory panel at NASA between 2003 and 2016.
