PAE has secured a position on a potential eight-year, $970 million contract to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency‘s Cooperative Threat Reduction program that aims to counter weapons of mass destruction.
The company said Thursday it will vie for task orders to facilitate transportation, storage and destruction of WMD threats through the contract vehicle.
“PAE’s CTRIC III team will leverage our extensive chemical, biological, nuclear, radiological and explosive experience and agile ability to engage around the world to accomplish critical missions,†said PAE CEO John Heller.
Heller added the company has helped U.S. partner nations build capacity to perform in “austere, semi-permissive and non-permissive environments.â€
PAE is one of six contractors selected by DTRA in June for the potential indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract.
