Dell Technologies’ Virtustream
 business has added a software-as-a-service option to a platform that works to provide compliance monitoring and risk management support to government agencies and commercial users.
The addition of the SaaS option to Virtustream Viewtrust seeks to provide clients with insights into their compliance and risk posture in both cloud and physical environments, Virtustream said Tuesday.
Virtustream Viewtrust works to determine risk based on mission criticality, geolocation, system and assets through the use of risk-scoring algorithms and integrates data from existing systems in order to provide a 360-degree view of risk and compliance.
The software platform also works with the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service application and complies with several regulatory requirements such as the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program and the Federal Information Security Management Act.
The company offers Virtustream Viewtrust an on-premises and managed services platform designed to help clients safeguard systems from cyber threats.
