The U.S. Air Force has awarded Raytheon a potential five-year, $90 million contract to manufacture radar warning receiver systems to fullfill production requirements under a foreign military sales transaction.
Raytheon’s self protect systems business will fabricate, integrate, test and deliver AN/ALRâ€69A receivers through the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Defense Department said Tuesday.
DoD noted the company will receive $51.5 million from Japanese FMS funds upon issuance of the initial delivery order.
Contract work will occur in Goleta, Calif., and Forest, Miss., through May 2023.
ALR-69A is designed to provide situational awareness on airborne platforms such as the C-130H, KC-46A, ALR-69AÂ aircraft.
