PreTalen to Help USAF Further Develop Comms System Analysis Tool - top government contractors - best government contracting eventPreTalen will continue to develop an automated platform for analyzing wireless communication systems under a $23.9 million contract from the U.S. Air Force.

The company aims to incorporate a signals-based test framework into the Position Navigation and Time Autonomous Negotiator Applying Cognitive Effects-Based Analysis system, or PANACEA, the service branch said Thursday.

USAF expects PreTalen to finish the project March 30, 2023.

PANACEA was originally developed through the service branch’s Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer Program and designed to evaluate PNT systems with automation algorithms, cognitive analysis, commercial simulators and coding methods.

The platform also works to help users input, output and analyze data on a built-in database for querying and compilation.

The U.S. Army adopted the platform in 2015 to support GPS receiver testing efforts for the service branch’s PNT System of Systems Architecture.
