Northrop Grumman has opened a cyber center on the Port San Antonio campus in Texas as part of efforts to help government customers safeguard critical systems and address cybersecurity challenges.
The company said Wednesday its 7,700-square-foot center at 903 Billy Mitchell Blvd. features a cyber integration laboratory, production facilities, warehouse space and a user experience platform designed to increase workflow processes.
“Cybersecurity is at the forefront of national security today, and Texas is rapidly becoming the hub for this critical sector as companies like Northrop Grumman expand their presence in the Lone Star State,†said Gov. Greg Abbott.
Rep. Will Hurd, R-Texas, elected state officials and Northrop and U.S. Air Force representatives attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the company’s San Antonio Cyber Center.
