DoD Certifies CA Technologies Access Management System as Cybersecurity Tool - top government contractors - best government contracting event

New York-based firm CA Technologies has received approval from the Defense Department to operate the CA Privileged Access Manager system as a cybersecurity tool.

CA Technologies said Wednesday CA PAM is now included in the DoD Information Network’s Approved Product List and National Information Assurance Partnership’s Product Compliant List.

Mordecai Rosen, general manager for cybersecurity at CA Technologies, said the certification confirms CA PAM’s ability to work in mission-critical situations, as well as enables the company to meet its goal of launching products and services that meet federal standards.

“Digital trust is at the forefront as federal agencies explore new, more efficient ways to engage with constituents and share information, especially as they evolve to embrace the core principles of the modern software factory,” she added.

CA PAM is designed to help users streamline privileged policies across physical and virtual environments to secure information technology resources while keeping track of activities across an IT infrastructure.

DoDIN APL consists of products that the DoD has assessed to meet mandated cybersecurity and interoperability standards.
