Booz Allen Hamilton executives believe talent recruitment and retention efforts will serve as a growth driver for the company moving forward, The Washington Business Journal reported Tuesday.
“We feel really good about our overall capacity to attract and retain the right kind of talent,†Booz Allen CEO Horacio Rozanski told analysts during an earnings call Tuesday.
“If you go back a call or two, you’ll remember we talked about the fact that the bulk of our growth, in fact the growth of our staff that’s more technical in nature, outpaces the overall headcount growth in the firm,†he added.
The report said the McLean, Va.-based government technology services contractor expects to hire more employees with technical skills and security clearances to support its Vision 2020 strategy that combines the firm’s consulting experience with technological capabilities in the areas of analytics, cyber, engineering and digital platforms.
Booz Allen reported $6.2 billion in fiscal 2018 revenue and added approximately 1,300 employees during the period, bringing its total headcount to approximately 24,600 employees.
