Jean O’Toole, previously a senior associate at professional services firm Dewberry, has been named business unit manager for the company’s office in Fairfax, Va.
She will manage the daily operations of the office and support client services for facilities in the public and private sectors, the company said Monday.
Her nearly 30-year career in architecture and project management includes involvement in the construction of the Chatham County courthouse, Fort Bragg conference and catering center, Pentagon visitor screening facility and the Western Loudoun County sheriff station.
She also assisted in Kaiser Permanente‘s healthcare renovation projects.
Her background includes areas such as assessment of existing structural conditions, design of large-scale facilities and renovation of buildings with occupants.
O’Toole is a member of the American Institute of Architects, has been certified for the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design BD+C status and is registered in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia as an architect.
