Amazon Web Services‘ has conferred its Government Competency status on stackArmor for services and applications for federal customers on AWS.
StackArmor, an AWS Partner Network member, said Tuesday it provides AWS-certified services to help government clients migrate and manage business and web applications on cloud architectures.
The Washington, D.C.-based company noted that it uses a security by design method pursuant to the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program and National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-53 security frameworks.
StackArmor offers cloud architecture and design, security assessment and authorization and continuous monitoring and incident response support that are compliant with FedRAMP and the Federal Information Security Management Act.
AWS’ Competency Program recognizes APN members with services for at least one of the core categories of citizen services, facilities, financial and fiscal affairs, government transportation, infrastructure management, justice and public safety, national security and defense, public healthcare, security and compliance and open data.
The Competency Program aids customers in the selection of APN members for consulting and technology services.
