The Department of Homeland Security has authorized Vectra to offer a cybersecurity platform to government agencies through DHS’ Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program.
Cognito is available under CDM DEFEND, which refers to the program’s third phase, and designed to help public sector clients detect a cyber attacker’s behavior in real time, Vectra said Thursday.
Sonia Walia, head of federal sales at Vectra, said the company aims to help secure the U.S. government’s information technology assets with the Cognito platform.
The CDM DEFENSE phase offers a range of incident assessment and response tools to defense and civilian agencies.
Vectra added its technology works to help users correlate alerts into security incidents, prioritize hosts based on risk and automate the response process.
