Tribalco has received a five-year, $57 million contract to deliver services and products in support of the U.S. Air Force‘s Guardian Angel Technical Recovery III program.
The company will provide technical recovery kits, training, annual maintenance, system engineering, program management and kit modernization via technology refresh under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Defense Department said Thursday.
Work will occur in Bethesda, Md., with an expected completion date of Oct. 26, 2023.
The Air Force obligates $454,409 in fiscal 2018 funds for the award.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center sourced the contract via a competitive solicitation, with three proposals garnered.
Guardian Angel forces are deployed to recover military personnel and important materiel from wreckages, damaged vehicles and dangerous environments.
