A Trevet–Bay West joint venture has won a potential five-year, $75 million contract to provide support services necessary to implement the U.S. Navy‘s environmental restoration program and media requirements for other environmental programs.
The JV will conduct resource conservation and underground storage tank studies, risk assessments and multiple projects to demonstrate technology platforms for monitoring and managing environmental treatment or control systems, the Defense Department said Tuesday.
Work will also include architect-engineering services for a existing or new environmental restoration projects.
Eight proposals were submitted to the Naval Facilities Engineering Command for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a competitive procurement on the service branch’s e-commerce portal.
The Navy has obligated $5,000 at the time of award from its operations and maintenance funds for fiscal 2018.
