Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has started to provide spectral support services that work to help government agencies build up their space situational awareness.
Kratos said Thursday its spectral services group will work to deliver radio frequency signal data to help agencies and other satellite operators gather insights about the behavior of orbiting satellites including the movement of friendly and hostile space platforms.
The company will provide such services using its global network of sensors, analytical tools and network operations center.
Kratos’ sensor network hosts at least 80 steerable and fixed antennas and sensors in X-, C-, L-, Ku– and S-bands across 21 global sites, while the company’s NOC supports RF spectrum management and SSA professionals through visualization, tasking and automated workflows.
The company’s analytics platforms are designed to help data scientists and other professionals process data for historical trending and predictive insights to facilitate the decision-making process.
