The General Services Administration has sought information on potential vendors that can provide a cloud-based, software-as-a-service platform designed to facilitate collaboration among individuals and teams within the agency.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Wednesday says GSA is looking for an enterprisewide collaboration tool that adopts transport layer security protocols with encryption and two-factor authentication methods.
The collaboration platform should enable data retrieval; sharing of files, videos and images within conversations; simultaneous synchronization of mobile, tablet and desktop applications; and integration with technical stack.
GSA said it wants a SaaS platform that has a search function and allows configuration of notifications on mobile devices and desktop, according to the request for information.
Responses to the RFI are due April 30.
