George Krivo, CEO of DynCorp International, has said the company looks to reinvest money and build out product offerings after it restructured further into logistics and aviation segments, the Washington Business Journal reported Wednesday.
He told WBJ in an interview the McLean, Virginia-based contractor implemented its reorganization effort in a push to remove “unnecessary” management layers and reach the desired “point of impact.”
“We’ve been able to pay down debt and we’ve actually gotten the structure of our company right so that our relative indirect cost is lower than many of our competitors,” said Krivo, a 2018 Wash100 recipient.
The U.S. Army veteran pointed to information technology, intelligence, base operations and support missions as potential growth areas for the DynLogistics unit.
Krivo added he believes an increased defense budget and military readiness gap will help drive opportunities in the DynAviation business.
