Lockheed Martin‘s Derco subsidiary will serve as an exclusive repair services provider for C-130 and F-16 aircraft components that Arkwin Industries produces.
The contract supplements Derco’s exclusive distribution agreement and extends its partnership with Arkwin that commenced in 2017, Lockheed said Thursday.
Derco’s 80,000 square-foot repair center will provide expanded in-house services and support for all Arkwin-made aircraft parts for global operators of Lockheed’s C-130 and F-16 platforms.
Arkwin will train Derco technicians on component repairs in aims to ensure compliance with original equipment manufacturer quality standards.
The Lockheed subsidiary’s repair center is certified by the Federal Aviation Administration and supports commercial and military aircraft.
