A Cubic business division will exhibit air combat and maritime training systems at the Navy League“™s three-day Sea-Air-Space Exposition that will kick off Monday, April 9, in National Harbor, Maryland.
Dave Buss, president of Cubic Global Defense, said in a statement published Wednesday the company is committed to delivering game-based and live, virtual and constructive training platforms designed to support clients“™ operational readiness.
“In particular, our game-based training courseware helps the U.S. Navy achieve individual and watch team readiness within the Littoral Combat Ship program of record and has applicability to other Navy and Marine Corps training needs through delivery of high-velocity learning,“ he added.
Cubic Global Defense will demonstrate its Immersive Virtual Ship Environment and Joint Strike Fighter P5 Internal Subsystem platforms at the SAS Exposition.
IVSE is a game-based learning tool that works to introduce trainees to 3D, virtual shipboard scenarios in support of the Navy“™s LCS program, while the Joint Strike Fighter P5 IS platform is built to train F-35 pilots for missions through air combat maneuvering instrumentation.
