Ed Sheehan, president and CEO of Concurrent Technologies Corp., has received recognition from the Defense Department‘s Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve program.

Kevin Hillegas, a CTC employee and Army National Guard member, nominated Sheehan for the ESGR’s Patriot Award, the company said Tuesday.

The ESGR program also previously bestowed the company with multiple awards that include Extraordinary Employer Support, Soaring Eagle, Above and Beyond, Seven Seals, Liberty Bell and Pro-Patria accolades.

“Supporting our employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve is an honor; we are humbled by this recognition,” Sheehan said.

CTC is a member of the Veteran Jobs Mission, a group of more than 230 companies with the goal to help former service members land jobs in the private sector.

The company has been featured in the Military Times’ Best for Vets Employers list for seven consecutive years.
