BAE's Software Testing Platform Completes 2 Test Events Under DARPA's Hallmark Program - top government contractors - best government contracting eventBAE Systems has completed two test events for a testbed it developed under a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency program to help the U.S. military assess and integrate space command-and-control systems.

The company said Wednesday evaluations of its Hallmark software testbed involved full operational space scenarios with the system’s applications.

DARPA awarded BAE a $12.8 million contract in November to develop the testing platform.

Ricardo Gonzalez, director of BAE’s space systems business, said the testbed demonstrated a capacity to integrate applications on the technology’s framework.

The Hallmark program seeks tools and technologies for military personnel to plan, assess and implement space missions through the Joint Space Operations Center and the National Space Defense Center.
