TeraThink has appointed Deborah Lee James, a 35-year public and private sector veteran, to the federal technology and management consulting firm’s board of directors.
The company said Monday James joins the board four months after the Reston, Virginia-based company merged with Dominion Consulting.
James said she aims to help government clients improve their operations and business processes as part of a TeraThink director.
She currently leads her own strategic advisory firm DLJames International and serves on boards of Textron, Unisys, Noblis, MKACyber and The Atlantic Council.
In her previous role as U.S. Air Force secretary, she managed the service branch’s 660,000 military and civilian personnel and $140 billion annual budget for four years.
She also spent 11 years as a senior executive at Science Applications International Corp.
