Technica has secured a position on a potential $250 million basic ordering agreement to support the U.S. Army‘s cloud migration and modernization efforts.
The company said Tuesday it aims to help the service branch transition information technology systems and applications to an authorized commercial cloud hosting technology or enterprise hosting facility through the Army Cloud Computing Enterprise Transformation contract.
Doug Sickler, vice president of business development at Technica, said the ACCENT BOA offers Army and other Defense Department technology owners access to the company’s IT migration service offerings.
The service branch’s commands and organizations use the agreement to procure cloud hosting, data center migration, transition support and application modernization services from industry.
