Sierra Nevada Corp. has received a one-year, $19.9 million contract modification to provide additional services for the U.S. Air Force’s aircraft precision strike package.
The Air Force exercised an option under a previously awarded contract that covers PSP logistics support for the Lockheed Martin-built AC-130J and AC-130W platforms, the Defense Department said Tuesday.
DoD noted the latest award brings the contract’s potential value to $72.3 million.
Work will take place at Canon AF Base in New Mexico and Hurlburt AF Base in Florida through March 31, 2019.
The service branch has obligated the full amount of the modification from its fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds.
