Parsons has helped the National Security Agency facilitate a daylong event that aimed to prepare U.S. military students to guard information technology networks and data against cybersecurity threats.
The company said Monday it produced cyber-attack and defend simulations, scoring software and 60 challenges for cadets and misdhipmen who took part in the NSA Cyber Exercise Live Fire event at U.S. Naval Academy in Maryland.
Carey Smith, a Parsons group president, said the company uses its cybersecurity experience to help the U.S. government prepare the country’s future warfighters.
“NSA and other government agencies we support are on the front lines of the cyber battlefield, which enables us to plan and facilitate this event using real-world, relevant challenges and the latest cyber adversary trends,” added Smith, a 2018 Wash100 recipient.
A team from the Air Force Academy won the challenge.
