A Vigor IndustrialÂ subsidiary has secured aÂ $35 million to help the U.S. Navy addressÂ repair and alteration requirements for the dry-docking selected restricted availability of Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyers.
Vigor MarineÂ will support DSRA office spaces, warehousing, lay-down, security, crane operation, utilities, galley services and other ship assets under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract, theÂ Defense DepartmentÂ said Friday.
Work will take place in Seattle throughÂ September 2020.
DoD noted the Navy will obligateÂ $318 in fiscal 2018 operation and maintenance funds at the time of award.
The Washington-basedÂ Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility issued the IDIQ award after a non-competitive solicitation process.
