Joseph Craver, who joined CSSÂ two years ago, has been appointed CEO of the Fairfax, Virginia-based government services provider.
He succeeds Dennis Lauchner, who will remain with CSS as vice chairman of its board, and will be the second CEO in the company’s 30â€year history, according to the press release.
Craver held a 24-year career at Leidos and Science Applications International Corp., where he managed organizations in the space, homeland security, information technology, environment, health and energy sectors.
He served at the U.S. Navy as engineering officer of a nuclear submarine and pilot for a deep submergence vehicle.
